Weekends come and go so quick and there is just so much to stuff in them, you need a day off to recover form your days off! I have had children birthday parties the past 2 weekends in a row. I helped my sister find party supplies for her son's birthday this past weekend. It was fun to prepare for the party. Tried to think like  little guy and just throw stuff around. Let's face it, those are the only times it is acceptable to just throw stuff. He is now a big 4 year old. He loves going  to preschool and especially the back pack I bought him. They grow up so fast, so it is nice to see him get excited!
